The latest work from Narelle Autio & Trent Parke captures the poetry of everyday life - the magical moments we often live but don't see.
were the only words Autio and Parke mastered on a train journey through the Czech Republic. This is a wonderful collaborative photographic work made on the train. Photographs that capture glimpses of the outside world are interspersed with images showing the relative stillness of passengers sleeping, smoking, passing time. A shared journey beautifully evoked.
Narelle Autio and Trent Parke have won numerous national and international awards for their work including World Press Photo Awards (1999, 2000 & 2001), a Walkley Award (2000) and American Picture of the Year Awards 2000 (for The Seventh Wave Book) and 2001. Their work is in the collections of the National Gallery of Victoria and the Australian National Maritime Museum.
